Dignified Support With Daily Living

Personal care covers the non-medical, hands-on assistance many people need with the activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal hygiene. It's the kind of help that's difficult to ask for, and the kind that makes the biggest difference to independence and confidence at home.

Our caregivers are trained to provide that support the way you'd want it provided: unhurried, discreet, and always led by your preferences. We work around your existing routine rather than replacing it, so the day still feels like your own.

  • Hourly or live-in
  • Same caregiver where possible
  • No long-term contract
  • Free in-home assessment

What's included

Support Built Around Your Routine

Every care plan is different. These are the areas our personal care caregivers most commonly assist with — choose what you need, adjust it whenever things change.

Bathing & Showering

Safe, private assistance with bathing, showering, or bed baths — including transfers in and out of the tub and help with hard-to-reach areas.

Dressing & Grooming

Help choosing and putting on clothing, plus everyday grooming like hair brushing, shaving, and skin care so you always feel presentable.

Oral & Personal Hygiene

Support with brushing teeth, denture care, nail and hand care, and other routines that protect comfort, health, and self-esteem.

Mobility & Transfers

Steady assistance with walking, standing, repositioning, and safe transfers between the bed, chair, and wheelchair to reduce fall risk.

Toileting & Continence

Discreet, respectful help with toileting, incontinence care, and related hygiene — handled with the privacy and dignity it deserves.

Morning & Evening Routines

Consistent help getting the day started and winding it down — including bedtime preparation and overnight check-ins where needed.

Who it's for

Signs Personal Care Might Help

  • Bathing or dressing has become difficult, unsafe, or is being skipped
  • There have been recent falls, or unsteadiness getting around the home
  • Recovery from surgery, illness, or a hospital stay needs extra hands
  • A family caregiver is stretched thin and needs reliable respite
  • A chronic condition or limited mobility makes daily routines tiring
  • Moving to a facility isn't wanted — home is where they'd rather stay

Not sure where to start? A free in-home assessment costs nothing and carries no obligation. We'll walk through the day together and tell you honestly what level of support makes sense.

Personal Care FAQs

No. Personal care is non-medical support with daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and hygiene. Our caregivers don't perform clinical procedures or provide nursing services. If a clinical need comes up, we'll help you coordinate with the appropriate health professionals.

Schedules are flexible and built around what you actually need — from short daily visits to overnight and live-in arrangements. We'll go over minimum visit lengths and options during the free consultation so there are no surprises.

Consistency matters, especially with personal care, so we assign a primary caregiver and keep them with you wherever scheduling allows. For vacations or sick days we introduce a familiar backup who already knows the care plan.

Absolutely. Care plans are reviewed on a regular basis and can be adjusted any time — scaling up after a hospital stay, or scaling back as someone regains independence. Just contact your care coordinator.

Every caregiver goes through an interview process, reference checks, and a criminal record check before joining the team, and we carry appropriate insurance. Training and supervision continue for as long as they work with us.
